On Sunday we gave Brayden a bath and as I was drying him off I felt a hard lump on the back of his right knee. We watched it over the coarse of the day. Monday morning the lump was much larger and it was draining puss from it. I called the doctor and made an appointment. Brayden had an infection. For the next 10 days I played doctor; I had to give him antibiotics three times a day and give put a warm compress followed by cream on his sore. The sore took a few days to heal, but it is getting better.
The doctor wanted us to feed Brayden yogurt so that he wouldn't get a yeast infection. He really like the yogurt, but it gave him a milk mustache.
Nap time is usually pretty simply. However, just when I think that Brayden is doing so good going down for his naps, he decides to change it up. Lately, it has been play time not nap time. I wanted you all to see how much fun he has been having. I put Brayden down for his nap and he starts out with his pacifier in mouth and a blanket to cover him. He usually pulls his blanket over his head; which stresses me out, but at least he would go to sleep.
He finds the rails and pulls himself over.
I came back in after a few minutes, he was chewing on his pacifier and was resting his feet on the rails.
Brayden has his feet through the rails. Sometimes, he gets his feet stuck and he'll let out a loud cry to have me help him get them free.
He got bored with that part of the crib, so he headed to the other end. He digs his head into the mattress, pushes his butt up and pushes himself forward.
Brayden has found the other side of the crib, notice the pacifier is no where to be found.
He thinks it is so fun to just kick his feet up, too bad he should be asleep.
Well, the next picture should be Brayden asleep in my arms on the couch, but Jared wasn't home--so no picture. After I took this picture I got him out of the crib and held him. He was asleep within 2 minutes of me getting him out of the crib. I am afraid he is developing some bad habits.
Jared left Friday to go to the Colorado game versus Baylor in Waco, Texas. The game wasn't on TV so we don't have many details on the game, but they won 43-23. Jared said it wasn't pretty, but it was a win. I can't believe we are almost half way through the season and we are 4-2. It has been so much fun watching college football this season, there have been some great games and upsets. We play Kansas State next week at their place, they lost today to Kansas. Should be a great game.
Jared had a few hours off on Monday so we decided to show Jerry and Sandy some sights in Boulder. We drove up to NCAR and then up Boulder Canyon to see Boulder Falls. The leaves were starting to change it was beautiful, and everyone enjoyed spending the day together.
Once we arrived at Boulder Falls it was just a short hike from the road. Brayden loves being outside and had so much fun hiking up to the falls.
Mommy had fun trying to get Brayden to face the camera. He kept turning his head around to figure out where all the noise was coming from. 
The falls were really pretty, we can't wait until spring to see them with more water running over. Brayden had fun with daddy during the day. He usually doesn't seem him until night time.
We then drove to Golden, Colorado to take a tour of the Coors Brewery. You can see the gold can behind us. It fills with by-products that are then used to feed cattle.
It was fun to see Kira and Brayden interact with each other. They were so interested in each other.
It was a pretty interesting tour, but it was a long time to hold the kids. I guess it was worth the free soda we got at the end of the tour.

This one is a little easier to see. I know it looks like I am hurting him, but I'm not, He was just wondering when that big flash was going to go off again.
Okay this is that last one, I guess I can say I tried to get a good picture. It should be easier when it breaks through a little more.
