Visiting Boise

On Friday we got up very early (3:30) to make it to the airport on time. Brayden and I were heading to Boise for the week. Jared was leaving to go to Arizona for the Colorado vs. Arizona State game. The flight went pretty good...this is Brayden's third flight. He is a little more active so I have to entertain him more, which is easy if we don't have to sit on the tarmac for 45 extra minutes, like we did on flight to Boise from Salt Lake City, and it would have helped if I would have sat in the right seat. I noticed when I got to my parent's house that I had sat in the wrong seat...and lets just say there wasn't a whole lot of extra room. Oh well, we made it. It was really good to be back in Boise and to see family. Brayden was really excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Libby and he showed off as soon as we got there. He rolls over all the time and he is starting to scoot around. He curls his knees up underneath him and pushes himself around with his face buried into the floor. I am afraid he is going to be crawling before long.

Brayden has a new toy

Brayden has a new toy that he plays with all the time...well he tries to eat all the time. Brayden has started putting everything in his mouth. He growls and grunts until he gets it in.
Misson Accomplished!

Labor Day Hike

We hiked up Chautauqua trail to the Flatirons on Labor Day. It was a lot of work for Jared and Natalie. Jared was carrying Brayden and the backpack and Natalie hadn't done anything that strenuous since before she was pregnant.
James Hardy came with us.
Brayden had so much fun. He loves being outside.
Brayden was worn out from all the excitment.

Brayden's first CU football game

Brayden's first CU football game was against in-state rival Colorado State University at the Rocky Mountain Showdown. The game was played at Invesco Field at Mile High. We spent most of the game inside because it was so hot and loud; Brayden didn't do very well with either. The game ended with a winning field goal in overtime 31-28. Go Buffs!

Brayden is 4 months

Brayden is getting so big. You are sleeping really good about 7 hours at night and 3 naps during the day. You eat every 3 hours. Brayden is rolling over all the time. Brayden stands up when you hold his hands. He has a really strong grip and won't let go until he wants to. We came back to Boise to load up our house, watch Grandpa's horse win the Idaho Cup and attend Kira's blessing.
Brayden mimicked Grandpa raising his hands over his head, and still Mmms a lot.
We saw a lot of family at Kira's blessing luncheon.

Idaho Cup 2007

The running of the Idaho Cup Sprint was very exciting. We anxiously awaiting the race while watching Dun Ringill in the paddock.

Meeting Cousin Jef & Kara

Today was a very exciting day. Daddy was able to show everyone that you were able to stand on your own while holding on to the playmat. You are so strong. Cousin Jef and Kara came over to meet you and Kira. You and Kira seemed to have a great time with the two of them.
We hadn't got you dressed, we were going to give you a bath soon.
Jef bought you and Kira matching outfits. They had a lemon on them...which is Jef's last name.
